PDP Can Still Win The 2023 Presidential Election Without Wike, Atiku Tells Party’s BOT
The residue over the official essence of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the decision of Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as running mate to its official competitor, Atiku Abubakar, has not settled.
Even though Atiku and Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, met yesterday in Abuja at the occasion of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), driven by Senator Walid Jibrin, a source said it didn’t prompt a ceasefire.
The gathering was facilitated by previous Information and Culture Minister Prof. Jerry Gana at his home.
At a gathering with BoT individuals on Wednesday, Atiku flaunted that PDP can win the following year’s political decision without many votes from Rivers State.
He said there was no reason to worry to conform to him.
Oozing certainty, Atiku reviewed that President Muhammadu Buhari, who didn’t win Rivers State, depended on votes from Lagos, Kano, and other key states to win the 2019 official survey.
He likewise said PDP ran into an emergency because Wike purportedly adopted the official essential.
Wike, who was aware of what happened at the BOT meeting, was said to have griped about Atiku’s new remark about him.
A source said: “Wike got issues together with Atiku over his new remarks or proclamations at the subsequent gathering.
