People Mocked Me For Marrying A Poor Mechanic, But 3 Weeks Later, They Regretted It.

My name is Rebecca, and I’ve struggled most of my life to find someone who will accept and cherish me for who I truly am. It seemed like every single man I had a romantic relationship with or dated eventually turned on me. The inside of me was shattered, and I did everything I could to track down my Mr. Right. At the time, I was in my early thirties, and I knew that old age was on its way.

Despite the fact that I am older than my siblings, all of them were in happy marriages. The fact that I had not been able to find a good man and settle down was mocked and ridiculed by my peers, as well as by my mother. During the lockdown last year, however, something truly miraculous occurred to me. My friend introduced me to Stanley, a handsome, kind, and 35-year-old single man who immediately put a smile on my face. Only problem was that he was a poor mechanic who struggled to make ends meet on a regular basis.

We met online and he revealed to me that he was a mechanic, which I found to be quite refreshing. In fact, I was so taken aback by his honesty and forthrightness that I began to experience feelings almost immediately. After a few months of dating, he decided to propose. For a while, I was perplexed and unsure of what I should do next. Even though I wasn’t sure whether or not I wanted to accept his marriage proposal, I was certain that I adored him and desired to share the rest of my life with him.

Upon learning of my involvement with Stanley the roadside mechanic, my family, friends, and loved ones began to make fun of me. However, I have chosen to ignore all of the insults and ridicule that have been directed at me by my coworkers. Because my family members were embarrassed by me, Stanley and I had a very private church wedding ceremony with only a few of my closest friends in attendance. In our first year of marriage, we moved into his tiny one-bedroom apartment and began our new lives together.

In spite of this, something miraculous occurred only three weeks after they were wed. And that was the end of my mechanic husband’s lottery winnings: a 90 million naira jackpot. In a positive way, our lives were altered and transformed. News of the incident spread like wildfire throughout the town. The news reached my family and friends as well, and they began calling me, but I refused to answer any of their calls. After moving into a brand new and immaculate home, my husband and I also purchased a car and launched a successful business. For the rest of our lives, we will never be poor again.

Moral lesson.

Make no jokes about anyone’s sad situation or look down on them. Nothing and no one, but only God, has the ability to predict the future.
