Onitsha Communities takes their own destinies into their own hands by floating a new security outfit to help curtail the rising insecurity in the communities.
According to a Twitter user @nnamdianana_ who shared the information on his handle, this move was necessary in order to stem the tide of insecurity in Onitcha community.

“To stem the tide of insecurity in Onitsha, community leaders float Onicha-Ado security network.
Following the insecurity in Anambra State especially Onitsha and it’s environs, communities in Onitsha just floated the Onicha Ado Vigilante Network to fight criminals.”

This is coming on the heels of Incessant killings by Hoodlums (Unknown gunmen) that has been on the rise in the State For a while now.
The South-eastern part of the country especially Anambra State has become a dead zone to citizens and security operatives alike as criminals go about their daily activities unchecked. More recently, PremiumTimes reported that a police station was attacked and two officers were killed in Aba, Abia State. In another incident on Wednesday, hoodlums killed a police officer and razed down a patrol vehicle in Ekwulobia in Anambra State.
