LAGOS – Three Separate accidents occurred on Monday as reported by the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, TRACE, and made available to Daily Independent.
The first accident occurred at about 7:05am at Odogbolu junction, inbound Ijebu-Ode on the Sagamu – Ijebu/Ode express road, involved a Toyota Camry vehicle, driven by a mobile police officer who was a lone occupant in the vehicle.
It was gathered that the vehicle somersaulted due to over speeding and got him killed.
His dead body was deposited at the Babcok University Mogue.
The second accident occurred at about 10:45am at Onigaari axis near Ogere on the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, in bound Lagos, involving an over speeding Toyota Sienna space wagon with registration number MUS 932 FE, which ran into a stationary Mack Tipper without registration number.
Daily Independent gathered that the crash resulted in the death of four people including an adult male, two female kids, and a male kid while five others were seriously injured, including one male and four female.
Our source said the injured were taken to Victory Hospital and bodies of the dead deposited at FOS Mogue all in Ipara Remo.
The last accident occurred at about 6:00pm along the Ijebu Ode- Ibadan road near Iperin junction involving a Honda Accord car with registration number TDU 975 EV, with three male occupants trying to overtake a Dangote truck with no registration number and in the process was crushed by the truck killing all the occupants. Their dead bodies were deposited at the FEMTOB Mogue.
