Over the years, the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been fighting to the emancipation of the great people of Biafra.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have always maintained that the United Nations Organization will conduct referendum for the people of Biafra to vote and decide whether to remain in Nigeria or leave Nigeria and for a new government known as Biafra government.
This issue has become a controversial issue and this led the federal government of Nigeria to arrest and detained him.
Meanwhile, many people have called on the federal government of Nigeria to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu because he did nothing.
In another development, the Biafra Finland activist, Simo Ekpa have told the presidency of Nigeria not to listen to the Coalition Of Northern Group and release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
This was contained in a press statement issued by Simo Ekpa on his official Facebook account.
This statement came as a response to the Coalition of Northern groups(CNG) that told President Muhammadu Buhari led government not to grant any demand to release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu without prosecution.
While delivering his speech, he said that the presidency in Nigeria should not listen to the Coalition of Northern Group before he will grant freedom to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Continuity with his speech, he said:
If the Presidency listen to this group, it is a confirmation that the terrorists has taking over his government and the SouthEast leaders are not stakeholders in Nigeria Project as at today.
The Coalition Of Noethern Group cannot urge the Presidency to withdraw its promise to Release MNK to the elders of the SouthEast.
Presidency must not listen to a group who dragged the President and Federal Government to court asking for only five Igbo states to leave Nigeria in partial support of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
This was a press statement issued by Simon Ekpa in maintaining his stand that the Presidency in Nigeria should not listen o
to the coalition of Norther Group and release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Meanwhile, different people have reacted to this development and maintained that the presidency should release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
