The President gave the advice in Daura, Katsina State when representatives of NYSC members deployed to the town paid him a Sallah visit.
He urged them to be productive, united irrespective of the tribal and religious differences.
The President said the diversity in the culture and ethics had been a strength for the growth and progress of the country.
“Not only the cultural differences but also physical differences and this is what makes Nigeria. That is why I feel strongly about NYSC and I will always wish you the best of luck. And I thank you for your service to the country”. President Buhari noted.
The President donated two bulls, twenty bags of rice, and one million naira to the corps members.
The Corps members Liaison officer, Umar Babayo, had earlier lauded president Buhari for his support for the NYSC.
