After President Buhari Said Insurgency Will End This Year, See What Major General Enenche Said

According to a news that was posted by Daily Trust newspaper yesterday evening, it was alleged that the president of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari through the Nigeria’s Minister for Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi Salihi (Rtd) in a Juma’at prayer that was held for fallen troops who died serving their father’s land has made it known that insurgency will be ended in Nigeria this year, through prayers and the effort of the government and troops.

However, according to another news that was published by the Nigeria Tribune yesterday, it has been alleged that the coordinator of Defence Media Operations, Major General Paul Enenche has also backed up the claim made by the president.

According to what he said, it was made known that the Defence Headquarters (DHQ), was on the final stage of counter territorism and anti banditry operations in the North West region of the country.

While answering questions from the weekly press briefing in Abuja, he made it known that the Nigerian troops are at the domination stage, as physical encounters between the Nigerian troops and the insurgents are on the low side.
