This is good news from Rivers State.
This young man in the photos below is a Catholic priest in Rivers State. He took it upon himself to fix a bad road that leads to his parish in Omuma Rivers State. He went there because the road was no longer motorable and people can not pass through it without entering the bush.
This young Rev. Father’s name is Rev. Father Peterdeebom. He is from the Catholic Diocese of port Harcourt in Rivers State. The road he was trying to fix is the road linking Omuma to Okehi. He wanted his parishioners to have a good road but he can’t afford to hire road contractors to come and fix the road.
He came out last month of September to see if he can create a channel for the water on the road so that the road can be motorable again. As you see can from the photos below, he did the work alone. He never knew that this was going to bring a good road to the people of the village.
After the photos were shared on social media, it got the attention of the Rivers State Government. Presently they have started fixing the bad road because of what This Rev. Father did.READ FULL ARTICLES HERE
