Protesters Storm Ibadan, Demand Immediate Release Of Sunday Igboho. (Photos)

The Yoruba Nation agitators today, July 21, 2021 staged a protest in Ibadan, Oyo State to demand the immediate release of Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho.

According to Punch Newspaper, The agitators with their placards are urgently calling on the Nigerian government, Interpol and other relevant agencies to immediately release the agitator.

You will recall that Sunday Igboho was arrested on Monday by security operatives when he was on his way to Germany. The Yoruba secessionist was however detained in Benin Republic pending the hearing of the extradition request of the Nigerian government.

In my opinion, I would always invite those genuinely interested in any meaningful change in our nation to invest their energy and resources in participating in politics, because that is the easiest way to upturn the system and make it work for the masses.

You don’t challenge the sovereignty of a nation, embarrass its leaders, mislead your footsoldiers into believing that you are invincible, yet take to your heels when the authorities decide to test your might a little.

You can achieve tangible results by participating in politics than taking up arms against the nation and leading many innocent youths to their avoidable and untimely deaths.

What are your thoughts?
