Nigerian actress and mother of two adorable daughters, Venita Akpofure took to her social media page on Twitter to disclose what Richard Mofe Damijo told her over the new movie “my village people”, which she just featured in.
The actress said that RMD told her that the performance she displayed in the movie is top-notch. Venita, who appeared to be delighted about RMD’s commendation, said that she does not think she is going to wash her hands again, this probably means that she had a handshake with the veteran actor. She said that her price has gone up as she now sees herself as a talented actress.
As we all know, Venita Akpofure is not new in the entertainment industry herself, she has appeared in many Television series, comedy skits and even in music videos, but I believe she is yet to get to the peak of her career. This is precisely why what RMD did to her, as revealed by Akpofure is something that needs to be studied.
What exactly is the lesson to be learnt from what RMD did?
- Positive remarks about people give them confidence and ginger them to do better.
When RMD celebrated his 60th birthday on July 6, 2021, and many people were wishing him a Happy Birthday, we did not really understand why he was shown so much love. RMD has this behaviour of always telling people how better they have done and become. This act of giving positive remarks about people helps them become better in what they do.
For example, Denola Grey once mentioned how RMD called him some years ago, it was his first time talking to the veteran actor on the phone. He said that RMD gave him word of advice that helped him get to where he is today. This is what we should all try to emulate, say positive things about people. It will go a long way in improving their lives.
