See What Was Spotted In Orlu After Eastern Security Network Members Exchanged Fire With Nigerian Soldiers

Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State has continued to dominate the news headlines over the past few days following a clash between the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and the Nigerian Army.

The crisis while escalated in Orlu is said to have resulted in the death of some innocent Civilians as a result of the gun fire.

According to reports, four soldiers, and five officers of the Nigeria Police Force are said to have lost their lives.

Imo State Governor Hope, later imposed a 24 hours curfew in the entire local government in order to bring the situation under control.

Meanwhile, the resident of Orlu are said to be at the receiving end of the crisis as they are now seeing military helicopters hovering around their communities.

A Facebook user who shared the video of situation decried that the people who are responsible for what Orlu is going through at moment are not even around to suffer the consequences. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

She said they left people to their fates adding to the fact that are now forced to stay indoors while their business remain closed.

“Helicopter Deployed In Orlu. Neither the politicians using the armed thugs causing problem in Orlu nor their children are hunkered down in their homes as a helicopter is hovering over their homes” she said in the post.

Meanwhile, according to latest report from Orlu, peace is gradually returning as the residents barely hear the sound of gun unlike in the previous days.

It remain to be seen if the Eastern Security Network Boys will drop their sword and make peace with the soldiers.
