Since the gruesome murder of Chief Terkula Suswam by unknown gunmen at his home at Anyiin, many noteble personallities have been sending in their condolance massages. One of the lastest personalities is, Senator George Akume who condoled with the Diaka family of Gaambe Tiev, over the passing away of their son, chief Dr Terkula Suswam Tingir. According to the condolence message made available to newsmen by his media consultant, Dr Aondona Mkor, the Minister of Special Duties and intergovernmental affairs conveyed his deepest sympathies over the unfortunate demise of Chief Dr Terkura Suswam.
He continued that, the sad news of the assassination of Chief Terkula Suswam by evil men recently has brought to him a shock and untold grief. The former Senate Minority Leader described the late Suswam as a “frontline philanthropist, a community leader, a devout Christian.”
The former Governor of Benue State further stated that as a philanthropist, Terkula Suswam spent most of his life on charities.
Akume also made it known that the late community leader brought peace and development to his immediate community, Anyiin and the state in general. That he made this possible by initiating infrastructural and economic investment opportunities for the entire State.
He prayed for the soul of the late Chief Dr Terkula Suswam and wished the entire Suswam family the grace to withstand the loss.
