According to Sahara reporters, it has been confirmed that heavily Armed security men have arrested the candidate of the Labour party who is currently aspiring for a political position in the upcoming 2023 general election. Sahara Reporters made it known that Mr. Yohanna Margif, the Plateau State’ s gubernatorial contender under the platform of the Labour Party got apprehended by some officers of the Nigerian Police in Abuja.

According to the report, Mr. Margif’ s arrest in Abuja was masterminded by the Plateau State Police Command and although the reason for his arrest hasn’ t been clarified, it has been alleged that he got arrested over his refusal to step down as the Labour party’ s flagbearer in the incoming Gubernatorial election for Plateau State in 2023.

Engineer Jack, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the Labour Party, who witnessed the arrest laid out a brief narration on the events that took place during the arrest of his fellow campaigner, the statement of Engineer jack reads: –

” I was together with my Governorship aspirant in Abuja at around 7 pm on Thursday moving on the expressway when we saw some heavily armed police agents who block our way and forced us to stop, ” he said.

” When we stopped, they took off with the governorship seeker and left us there. I supposed it was the kidnappers that have taken him and I decided to go to the nearest police station to recount it but I was told that he has been sent to Apo Police Station.
