Sir Alex Ferguson Disagrees With Manchester United Over Their Super League Ambition

The European super League has generated loads of reactions and controversies among clubs and pundits.

For now we have 12 clubs who look to accept the proposal. In the English Premier Legue,the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are among these club.

For Manchester United,former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has disagreed with their decision.

Sir Alex thinks that it is not just possible, and that it will affect the UEFA champions league and what it represent


In Neville’s words,Sir Alex said: “Talk of a Super League is a move away from 70 years of European club football.I’m not sure [if] Manchester United are involved in this, as Iam not part of the decision making process,”

The duo believe that it won’t favour the smaller teams as it will hinder them from competing with these teams. They also talked about how special the Uefa Champions League is concerned.

Manchester United are yet to make a statement on that but their silent just like every other team is taken as acceptance.
