Army officer identified as Nasiru was caught on camera slapping and attacking a Nigerian International footballer, Chikeluba Francis with machete at Shoprite road along garden avenue in Enugu State.
The army personnel who was driving in the wrong lane to cut out the traffic jam on the road clashed with the footballer and it led to an altercation.
In reacting to the confrontation by the army officer, the footballer and his friend blocked him and the army officer brought out a machete to attack them.
He also announced that he would be charging him to court soon for abuse. The incident has generated reactions on social media as many Nigerians appreciate the guts of the young footballers for being able to stand on their right and refused to be intimidated by the uniform.
