Aliyu Atiku, the son of former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar, took to his social media page to ask Femi Fani-Kayode a question about his current political standing after the later made a statement that seems like an attack on Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Femi Fani-Kayode, a Nigerian politician who is known as FFK on social media referred to the APC national leader as the the most hated person by Yoruba nationalists ( Yoruba people who loves and defend Nigeria).
According to Femi Fani-Kayode, in a Twitter post, a Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidency cannot stop Yoruba separatists from agitating to leave Nigeria and form a separate country called the Oduduwa Republic, rather, it will strength their resolve as Tinubu is the most hated person by Yoruba nationalists.
In reactions to FFK latest attack on the APC national leader, Aliyu Atiku asked a question that suggests he is unsure about Femi Fani-Kayode’s current political party.
“I thought you decamped to APC sir?”, asked Aliyu Atiku.
Whilst the son of Nigerian former Vice President did not get a reply nor revealed why he asked the question, it is clear he was trying to suggest that, Femi Fani-Kayode will no longer be attacking Bola Ahmed Tinubu if they are now of the same political party.
Recall that FFK was rumoured to have left the PDP to join the ruling APC months ago. Many times he was pictured while having meeting with key APC leaders, and he also reduced his social media criticism of the ruling party, which led to a lot of rumours that he has left the opposition PDP.
Femi Fani-Kayode has since came out to debunk rumours of his defection, but some people still believes FFK heart is already with APC, and Aliyu Atiku may be one of such people.
