The former presidential aide on media, Bemigho Reno Omokri, has once again taken to his official Twitter page to enlighten people on how to abstain from cyber crimes and focusing more on making “clean” money from the internet.
This piece of advice should not come as a surprise because quite debatably, the country is unfortunately ranked among countries that has a high number of cyber criminals, which is not a good reputation.
The 47 year old human rights activist and lawyer deemed it fit to speak up and make people involved in cybercrime realize that there are legal means of making a honest living online.
Reno, in his tweet made it clear that there are better means of making money on the internet and also gave the estimate of how much some of these sites pay their users. He also advised those involved in cybercrime to desist from it as it is not worth their time. Check out screenshot of his tweet below. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
Reno’s tweet stirred up some reactions online, and different people had one or two things to say. See screenshots of some reactions below.
In my own opinionated view, I think that it is high time those involved in cyber crimes stopped it, as there other ways of making money online just as Reno Omokri had said. Defrauding innocent/naive people of their hard earned money is not something to be proud of and I wonder why most people take glory in it.
