According to Naija News, 7 traditional rulers in the southwest have written a letter to the President of Benin in the person of Patrice Talon. The full content of the message was not made public but it is believed that the letter addressed the allegations against Sunday Igboho. The traditional rulers have promised to support Sunday Igboho and do everything possible to set him free.
A report from Naija News states that the letter was handed over to the President of Benin a few minutes after Major General Buratai visited the President.
