Pastor Joshua died last week in Lagos State at the age of 57, shortly after finishing a program at his church.
The monarch of Arigidi Akoko, TB Joshua’ s hometown, Oba Yisa Olanipekun, and some other traditional rulers in Akoko area have opposed the burial of the late pastor in his hometown.
The traditional rulers were of the view that if the late clergyman was buried in his hometown, it would give the town worldwide recognition as the late clergyman’ s faithful from all over the world would visit to see his grave, and it would also make the church to continue with the project the late founder had already started.
The youth of Arigidi Akoko and other community also hit the street to protest against the plan to burry the great man of God in Lagos 3 days ago
But the late clergyman’ s wife, Evelyn, and his children’ s decision to bury him in Lagos prevailed.
