Following the death of the philanthropic Cleric, Prophet T.B. Joshua on the 5th of June, several reactions has filled the air from various areas of the nation and the globe.
Chief Mike Amachee, the Nigeria’s father of tourism has also reacted the Cleric death of as a great loss to Nigeria and the world at large. Expressing his Condolence to the family of the late Cleric and to the member of the Synagogue Church of all Nation (SCOAN), Chief Amachee has described Prophet T.B Joshua as a man who singlehandedly lifted Nigeria into a religious tourist destination.
In his words, he said “I was sad to hear of the death of Prophet T.B Joshua because I know what he represented for Nigeria’s Tourism. He has the biggest Tourist attraction to Nigeria. About 80 percent of non-Business tourist coming to Nigeria are visiting his SCOAN in Ikotun”.
He said the tourist attraction has helped generate Revenue for people living around the area as various businesses such as Accommodation facilities, Eateries and other type of Businesses has helped the people around SCOAN, Ikotun gain a means of Livelihood for themselves and Families.
He further stated that the late Cleric built a world class Tourism resort which is the SCOAN prayer mountain resort which has also generated more income and uplifted the Tourism industry of Nigeria.
He however urged the practitioners of the tourism industry not to be discouraged by the loss of T.B joshua but to continue their effort in building the nation’s Tourism industry and make the nation among the world best Tourist destination.
