Amotekun is a regional security initiative set up by the South Western governors to curtail the insecurity in their domains. The corp officers have been appearing in news in recent times.

The security outfit has been reported by the Daily Trust online newspaper to have killed three Fulani persons in Oyo state. The reputable news medium disclosed that the attack started in Aiyete, a Bororo settlement. The place is one kilometer away from Okebe, the Fulani settlement in Oyo state.

Sarkin Fulani of Oyo, Alhaji Salihu Abdulkadir has confirmed the killing of the man and his two sons. He said the man has lived almost all his life in the community.
