Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Christ Embassy Church has said that the people of America do not hate Trump. He said voting out Trump form the American presidency has no connection with hatred for Trump. But the Americans voted him out of office because of the people he is supporting.

In a video shared online on Sunday, November 8, 2020, Pastor Oyakhilome said: “There are those who think that Trump is hated by many Americans, he is not hated by Americans. I want to tell you the truth, Trump is not the problem.

“They hate those that Trump seems to support. They are angry at Trump for supporting Christians. Better know it now. It is you who are Christians that they hated, not Trump. That’s what they hatred of Trump is all about.

“Before he started giving his voice in support of Christians, and in support of Israel, he was the friend of the leftists. He was their darling, they loved him. They blamed the Christians for voting him into office in 2016 and that is what they hate him for. They think he is protecting you. If he is against the church, they will love him.”

President Donald Trump actually has some liking for Christians. He has spoken some good words about Christianity, though he may not have professed a sound faith in Christ. He has support for those who believe in Christ.

He has also supported Israel in many ways. That is one big reasons why the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netayanhu has been very slow to congratulate Joe Biden as elected president of the United States. It was Trump who pushed for the conversion of Jerusalem to become the capital of Israel. It was also Trump who settled the issues of the Golan Heights and the West Banks.
