The girlfriend of the physically challenged man who was seen dancing alongside him in a church during their child’s dedication has spoken out about her family’s reaction to her decision to be with him. We all remember the viral video of Mr Money Itu dancing alongside the lady during their child’s dedication at a church. They have now shared their love story with BBC Pidgin and it is a really inspiring one. They have been together for about five years and it started when she was just 19 years old. The man sent his friends to ask her out and she eventually said yes.
Fast forward 5 years later, and they already have 2 children’s together. But her family’s reaction had been a very hostile one. According to her, when she took her boyfriend to their family house, it all ended badly because they were thrown out of the house. They slapped her, cursed her and threw both of them out of the house afterwards. They told her that they did not want a man like that for her because there is no one like that in their family. She stood her ground and refused to give up which is why they area still together.
Mr Monday Itu on the other hand refers to her as his wife because according to him, they already have two children and he intends to marry her the moment he has money. He is still very surprised that she agreed to be with him despite not having money at all. He sees it as the handwork of God as they are a happy family. That is seen in the video as they are both seen laughing together with their children.

This lady saw a man who has no money, a man who was physically challenged and she came into his life. She did not just come but has stuck with him ever since with no plans of leaving. When we see people get married to rich disabled people, we are quick to say that they are doing it because of money. But this one has no money or any support at all. All I can say is that ‘THIS MUST BE TRUE LOVE’.
