Youths of the Niger Delta have given the Federal Government a twenty-one-day ultimatum to handover the pipeline surveillance job to them or be ready to face the consequences of their actions.

The youths, under the auspices of Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas (HOSTCOM), expressed displeasure over the failure of President Muhammadu Buhari to fulfill his promise after two years.

HOSTCOM National Youth President, Dennis Ariaga said, “We are not happy with President Muhammadu Buhari for not keeping to his promise to handover the pipeline surveillance to us after 10,000 of us have been recruited and well trained two years ago.
