The Federal Government of Nigeria has listed its grievances against the microblogging platform, Twitter. This was made known by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed during a press conference.
Mohammed accused Twitter of assisting the bloody EndSARS movement in the area of raising funds for the protest. He went ahead to enumerate the losses incurred by the country during the protest.
Recall that the wave of protest targeted at ending police brutality led to massive loss of lives and properties. Mohammed concluded that Twitter is sabotaging the growth and development of Nigeria.
Considering this, it is crystal clear that Twitter which has been banned in Nigeria might not be returning anytime soon, and if it does, it will never remain the same again.
