Report from Sahara Reporters gathered that the Nigerian Army has lost two soldiers after agencies of Eastern Security Network, the militant arm of Indigenous People of Biafra stormed its location at Iggah and Asaba Checkpoint in Enugu State.
Nigerian army noted that the group had been deployed to check the activities of bandits at Adani community of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area in Enugu State, when they came under the attack of the ESN on Tuesday.
Look at what Gen Onyema Nwachukwu, the Director, Army Public Relations said, “Nigerian soldiers deployed to check the activities of bandits at Adani community of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State, on Tuesday, repulsed Eastern Security Network gun attack on troops’ located at Iggah/Asaba checkpoint.”
He further said, “bitterly, during the gun battle that resulted, two soldiers paid the highest price. Troops are recently on the trail of the gunmen.”
These ESN members are really starting what they can’t finish. I believe they will be wiped away soon by Nigerian army.
