It’s no longer news that President Muhammadu Buhari traveled to UK for an event. According to some reports, Buhari will be participating in a Global Education Summit (The Financing Of Global Partnership for Education 2021-2025).
A lot of Nigerians are curious to know how this summit will affect the lives of people residing within the country.
So, here is what UK govt told Buhari to do about Education In Nigeria.
Catriona Laing (the British high commissioner to Nigeria) uploaded a video about Buhari’s visit to UK and she advised the federal government of Nigeria and other African leaders to direct 20 percent of their expenditure to education. Catriona Laing disclosed that this plan will help children to have about 12 years of quality education.
Also, she stated that if the federal government will put more resources into Education, children who are 10 years old will be able to read in Nigeria.
