A mum and daughter ghost-hunting team say they have caught the ghost of a long-dead tin miner on video.
The Cornish Ghost Whispers were filming a Facebook Live paranormal visit to a ruined mine for their 12,500 followers when they caught the spooky figure on film.
In the clip, recorded by Candice Collins, the figure of a man can clearly be seen standing near the remains of an engine house.
The dark human-shaped object appears to be solid and barely moves as the ghost hunters shine their torches on it.
The figure stands motionless for more than a minute, then the camera moves away from its direction and the clip ends.
Candice Collins says the mysterious man in the video ‘vanished’ noiselessly
Candice said there was “something not quite right about it” and claimed the man vanished into thin air when questioned if the ghostly figure could simply be a real human by Cornwall Live.
She told the title: “The figure was on this sort of clifftop, just standing there, watching us.
“The man was all grey and the movements were distorted.
“I called out to him, ‘hello, hello’, but there was no response.
“Where he was standing was really high up and a difficult climb with a sheer drop on one side.
“I can’t see how anyone could have climbed down suddenly without any noise. It just vanished.”
Candice Collins, her mum Suzanne Collins and Candice’s partner Nick Pearse, regularly do paranormal explorations together but she said this latest sighting was “amazing”.
She said: “Previously, we have filmed a spirit dog running through Kennall Vale woods but this was even more amazing.”
The ghost hunters visited Wheal Frances between Truro and Perranporth, home of a ruined mine, with her fellow ghost-hunters – partner Nick Pearse and mum Suzanne Collins.

We were going to go somewhere else but found out that destination was on private land so this was a last-minute decision.
“We started going live in the car park at around 10.20 pm – it was very misty.
“As we started walking down this figure was standing there.”
Candice believes the figure was the ghost of a tin miner.
“A few tin miners died at that place,” she said.
“It did not look right – he had distorted movements, like moving side to side, robotic.
“All three of us stood there in disbelief.
“It was so high up on the platform then gone within a second.”
This comes after a driver was terrified after he recorded a dark figure staring at him from inside an abandoned school.
