Upper Chamber BTP Dares The Nigeria State

A motion for a notification and reminder to the Nigeria State Senate on the 30th May 2021 deadline for the release of Biafran prisoners of conscience held in the Onitsha and Awka was moved by Calabar Parliamentarian Elder Abasiama Akwaowo in the Upper Chamber of the transitional parliament.

Elder Abasiama mentioned that his prime purpose of the motion is for record purposes and not jittery. He emphasized that though the Nigerian Senate will be unconcerned over the call but let it be gazetted that the Upper Chamber BTP has chosen to retaliate and confront the Nigeria State including the politicians of Biafra stock after the stated deadline.


In support of the motion, Dr. Anyaegbuna Olisa of Onitsha Province reiterated that the people of Biafra still maintains the stand taken in 1967 at the Aburi Accord held in Ghana and it is important history is recorded on the steps being taken by Biafran National Guard towards the restoration of Biafra sovereignty.

Continuing, Parliamentarian Anyaebuna expressed certainty on the dictatorial stance of the so-called Nigerian Presidency against the other arms of government including the Nigerian Senate causing the Senators to lack priority, becoming voiceless on important matters affecting the denizens.

He described as ridiculous the attitude of the Nigerian Senators whom are more interested in having census and ranches for cattle rather than be more concerned on the lives of the people they are supposedly governing. Maintaining that defunct Anambra state shall be used as a model to be made ungovernable for the Nigeria State due to the arbitrary violation of the right to self-determination of Indigenous Biafrans.


Also, Chief Akuma Onochie representing Afikpo Province called for a gazette which will contain every names of Indigenous Biafrans that has been injured, imprisoned and also killed by the Nigeria State for the alleged crime of seeking Self-determination as recognized and reaffirmed by various international law and instruments.

Lolo Chimeruo Odum of Okigwe Province during the session stated that the Nigeria State whose Minister of Justice/Attorney-General akin the ban on open grazing of his Fulani kinsmen to an imposition against importation of vehicles spare parts must never be trusted in engaging in dialogue but must be matched wit by wit.

Moreover, the Deputy Head of Upper Chamber, Mrs Alabrah Stephanie of Sagbama Province notified the Chamber on the findings by the Biafran Detective Force detailing ploys by the Fulani controlled Nigeria State having hired al-Shabaab terrorists, jihadists, fundamentalist group from Somalia. These hired terrorists have been mobilised in the guise of Nigerian Military and are accommodated in the barrack at Onitsha. The prime targets of these hired jihadists is to murder these Biafran prisoners of conscience held in the Onitsha Prison.

The Deputy Head warned that in no circumstances must a strand of hair be removed from these prisoners of conscience held in the Onitsha and Awka Prisons for over fifteen (15) years. These are Uche Idikaigbo, Michael Okezie, Uchenna Nicholas, Peter Igbokwe, Ikechukwu Aghara, Mrs. Onyekachi Orji, Miss Okwudiri Bassey, Chima Asor and Chinweike Irondi.

Others are Sabastine Amadi, Casmir Odakara, Ojemba Anyanwu, Eni Kalu, Ndubisi Okam, Ikechukwu Chikwem, Emmanuel Orji, Chukwuma Kalu, Chidiebere Chikwem and Mmaduabuchi Asika.

Mrs Alabrah described the recent held Nigerian Senate 2-Day public hearing on the review of the so-called 1999 constitution as an effort in futility, too late and waste of public funds.

She referred them back to all of the national conference/confab held by previous Presidents of the Nigeria State but their final agreements and reports were thrown into the waste bin in Aso Rock with none ever initiated or adopted in whatever form.

The Head of the Upper Chamber, Barr. Mark Roman warned the Nigerian State that hurting any of the Biafran prisoners of conscience held in the Onitsha and Awka Prisons will be tantamount to unleashing an indescribable mayhem never seen by mankind.

He warned the Nigerian Senators specifically those from the Old Eastern region to retrace their steps by acknowledging and advocating for the Human rights and fundamental freedom of Indigenous Biafrans in accordance to international law and conventions. Insisting that the dissolution of Nigeria is inevitable and the choice to die as strangers in their ancestral homes is solely up to them.

At the end of the session the following resolutions was reached:

I. A gazette beaconing for the absolute destruction of whatever authority, activities, institutions or parastatals affiliated to the Nigeria State.

II. A gazette to be published containing the profile of every Indigenous Biafrans that has ever been injured, imprisoned and also killed by the Nigeria State for the alleged crime of seeking Self-determination.

III. Acceleration of plans and support to the Biafran National Guard towards the restoration and defence of Biafra territories.

Concluding, the Upper Chamber BTP acknowledged the receipt of the screening list from the Biafran Supreme Military Council of Administration{BSMCA] to fill the Administrators posts for the Biafran Army, Biafran Navy, Biafran Air-Force and Biafran Detective Force, promising to harmonise with the Lower Chamber over the list.
