Veteran Actor, Chinwetalu Agu Brutalized By Soldiers For Wearing Biafran Flag Outfit (Video)

Veteran actor, Chinwetalu Agu has been brutalized by soldiers for wearing a Biafran flag outfit.

At some point in the video, the actor was spotted out of his car which had the inscription “Chinwetalu Films”.

The car was then searched by the security operatives before he was manhandled by the soldiers who fired some shots to scare off the crowd which gathered.

The incident reportedly occurred today October 7, at Upper Iweka in Onitsha, Anambra state.

Scooper News had reported on September 16, 2021 that Chinwetalu Agu stepped out wearing an outfit made with the Biafran flag design.

The actor, known for his creative and unique lines in movies, made a top and trousers with the Biafran flag design.

He completed the look with a red cap with gold details.

Scooper News had gathered that Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie blamed the Imo State Government for allowing students to go to school for their examinations despite the ongoing sit-at-home declared by the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in the Southeast.

Edochie said this while reacting to the viral video of the students of the Comprehensive Secondary School in Nkume, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State, running helter-skelter after they were attacked while preparing to sit for English in the ongoing 2021 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, on Monday.

Reacting to the development, Edochie in a post via her instagram account on Tuesday also blamed the parents of the students following the attack.

She wrote;

“It’s not just to ask people to go about their business.

“Now look at these children you asked to come out for exams running out of their school.

“Was there any security to secure these children?

“Now if anything had happened to any of them, the same people would only say sorry to their family.

“In fact I blame the parents that allowed their children to go through this.”

Some years back news went around about Chinwetalagu, however, in a series of Instagram posts, refuted a death rumour currently being peddled.

He also said he has not been sick, contrary to the rumour.

The 64-year-old actor, who was obviously upset about the speculation which he described as malicious, resorted to cursing those behind it.

His statement read;
