On the Journalists’ Hangout(Monday edition) Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, explained why Nigerians should not feel bad over the loss of a fighter jet. Babajide also revealed where bandits purchase their weapons from.
You may recall that a Nigerian fighter jet was recently, taken down on it’s way from a mission in Zamfara State. Thankfully, the pilot survived the attack.
Here’s what Babajide Kolade-Otitoju said:
“I know that Nigerians don’t like to hear that we have lost Airmen or fighter jets, but this kind of things happen.
We need to understand that the enemy is not relenting. They have the money to purchase the weapons they require. A lot of the weapons that come into this country through unofficial channels, are from the Soviet Union, eastern Europe to be precise.”
Dear Nigerians, what is your take on this delicate issue of national concern?
Do you believe that the government can stop the movement of illegal arms in Nigeria?
