There is an indication that a third force has finally arrived in the Nigerian political sphere, and is on the verge of dethroning two of the country’s top political parties: the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

According to many, the third force is Peter Obi’s Labour Party, believed to be massively favoured by the Nigerian youths.

Following Peter Obi’s presidential ambition and his subsequent victory as the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for the forthcoming general elections, waves of support have continued to encircle him.

Most interestingly, a video showing the moment people chanted his name when someone brought a PDP flag to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Garki Abuja, is said to prove Peter Obi Obi’s wide acceptance by the youths.

Nevertheless, Nigerians are also of the opinion that Peter Obi may raise the level of governance in Nigeria, should he be elected president in 2023.

The prediction followed his recent schedules which are all in the interest of Nigeria.

On Tuesday, Peter Obi announced his departure for Egypt on a 3-day visit as part of his detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria.

Explaining his mission, he wrote: “I just departed for Egypt on a 3-day visit as part of my detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria. In Egypt, I am expected to understudy, among others, the Egyptian Power Sector, Education, Planning and Finance Sectors.”

Obi’s travel is coming shortly after human rights’ activist and convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju had advised him, the New Nigeria People’s Party presidental candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso and African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore to work together ahead of 2023 elections.

More so, trailing Obi’s announcement are Nigerians’ comments on social media, praising him for seeking Nigeria’s progress ahead of the 2023 elections

@Charles Osisakwe wrote: “When PO keeps talking about education , some of u think he’s joking. Have u seen his educational achievements? He’s going to Egypt to learn and understand how they were able to rebuild and fortify their economy and power sector over a space of 5-10 yrs.”

@Nnebryte: “Peter Obi has effectively put an end to “pure water drinking and corn eating ” campaigns. He has raised the bar to the highest level. Thank you for this. His Excellency.”

@Yourvillg: “As a former Governor and Presidential aspirant, you should have your personal security.. you can’t walking vulnerably please. This ambition is not about you again @PeterObi This is well-meaning Nigerians’ ambition, manifesting through you.”
