Members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have forcefully executed its sit- at- home order with heavy gunshots, as students of Comprehensive Secondary School, Nkume in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State, who were writing the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WAEC, flee for their lives while the school was burnt.

This dreaded attack on the school follows IPOB’ s sit- at- home order which the students have obviously flouted.
Angry reactions have emerged as many Nigerians link IPOB to Boko Haram terrorists who are making sure there are no schools in northern Nigeria
@Gideon Nwagwu said, ” Wisdom is better than gold and riches. The sit at home order, will it in any way add value to the economy of the South East? The students has missed the core subjects that day! Recall the cost of registering for such exams In my thinking, there are other better options to push for one’ s regional demands. ”
@Surajo Haruna said, ” I never in my life contemplate a daft agitation like this one. I see Igbos as a very enlighten Ppl, but for this one they are getting wrong. May almighty God save the innocent. ”
@Murtala Tamburawa said, ” What they did was irresponsible and showed the world that they lack manner while the president even visited their state but couldn’ t protest. Shame on them. ”
@Ibrahim Sen said, ” This is as exactly what boko haram and bandit did in the North, depriving children from going to school in the name of fighting for their rights/freedom. ”
@Friday Itodo said, ” This is highly condemnable, why mortgaging the future of these students for crying out loud? You are not doing buhari or those fulanis any harm by doing this babaric act rather you are destroying the future of your generation.
You saw Buhari and all those politicians in Imo state last week, why didn’ t you people attack them? It’ s this innocent student you are flexing your muscles on. Nemesis shall tell. ”
